It’s Okay to Buy New Jeans If Your Old Ones Don’t Fit

Hi Friends,
I’m going to say something that might be slightly counterproductive for someone who sells jeans:
I’m not telling you to buy my jeans. But I am telling you this:
It’s okay to buy new jeans if your old ones don’t fit.
I think we’ve somehow turned clothing sizes into little report cards for our bodies. We keep the jeans from three years ago in the back of our closets because maybe I’ll fit into them again.
We put on a pair that’s suddenly too tight and immediately think about what we ate yesterday. We tell ourselves we shouldn’t buy anything new because our bodies are supposed to change to fit the clothes we already own.
But… why?
Your body is going to change.
It might change over three years. It might change over three months. Honestly, it can change between breakfast and dinner.
That doesn’t mean you did anything wrong. Your clothes are supposed to adapt to your body...not the other way around
That idea is a huge part of why I started KarinaJ.
Those questions eventually became KarinaJ: pull-on jeans designed with a hidden, soft, stretchy waistband that can move with your body while still looking and feeling like premium denim.
So no, this post isn’t me telling you that you need another pair of jeans. It’s me telling you that if the ones sitting in your closet make you feel bad about yourself every time you put them on…
You have permission to let them go. And buy something that fits the body you have right now <3
xoxo,
Karina
P.S. And if you are looking for that new pair of jeans…well, I happen to know a girl :)
